Copyright & Licence

TCSISR proceedings are published on a gold open access basis. This page explains the copyright and licensing terms that apply to your paper.

Licence

All articles published in TCSISR conference series are published under the CC BY-NC 4.0 user license. This licence allows others to:

  • Remix, tweak, and build upon your work for non-commercial purposes.
  • Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.

Under this licence, users must:

  • Give appropriate credit to you as the author.
  • Indicate if changes were made.
  • Not use the material for commercial purposes.

Derivative works do not have to be licensed on the same terms, but they must acknowledge you and remain non-commercial.

Commercial use — including publishing in journals or ebooks — is not permitted under this licence.

Authors retain copyright in their papers. By submitting a paper to the conference organiser, you grant Warwick Evans Publishing Ltd (WEP) a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, exclusive licence to use the copyright in the paper for the full term of copyright, including the right to reproduce, distribute, and communicate the article to the public under the terms of the CC BY-NC 4.0 licence.

This licence does not transfer copyright, which remains with you or your employer, as appropriate.

Author Warranties

By submitting a paper, you warrant that:

  • The paper is your original work.
  • It has not been published previously (other than in a research thesis or dissertation, which fact has been notified to the conference organiser in writing).
  • All named authors participated sufficiently in the conception and writing of the paper.
  • All authors have received a final version of the paper, agree to its submission, and take responsibility for it.
  • The submission has been approved as necessary by the authorities at the establishment where the research was carried out.

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents, and datasets.

For papers published in our gold open access journals, authors are no longer required to sign and submit copyright forms. Authors who wish to publish a paper with us are asked to submit a paper only if all authors of the paper agree in full to the terms of the licence.
