Peer Review Policy

TCSISR is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic quality through a rigorous peer-review process. All proceedings are published under the scientific responsibility of the conference editors.

Review Model

The conference adopts a double-blind peer review process. In this model:

  • Reviewers do not know the identity of the authors.
  • Authors do not know the identity of the reviewers.

This ensures that evaluation is based solely on the scientific merit of the work.

Reviewer Selection

Conference organisers and editors may select their reviewers, but all reviewers must be suitably qualified experts in the field. TCSISR requires that:

  • Each paper is reviewed by at least two independent experts.
  • Reviewers are not affiliated with the authors or their institutions.
  • Reviewers declare any conflicts of interest before accepting a review assignment.

Evaluation Criteria

Reviewers are asked to evaluate each manuscript according to the following minimum criteria:

  • Originality — Does the work present new findings or insights?
  • Scientific soundness — Are the methods appropriate and the conclusions supported by the evidence?
  • Clarity — Is the paper well-structured and clearly written?
  • Relevance — Does the paper fall within the scope of the conference and the series?
  • Quality of presentation — Are figures, tables, and references properly prepared?

Editorial Decision

Based on the reviewers’ reports, the conference editors make one of the following decisions:

  • Accept — The paper is accepted as submitted.
  • Accept with minor revisions — The paper is accepted subject to minor corrections.
  • Major revisions required — The paper requires substantial revision and re-review.
  • Reject — The paper is not accepted for publication.

Appeals

Authors who wish to appeal an editorial decision may contact the conference editors with a detailed explanation. Appeals are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Compliance

TCSISR is published in compliance with the COPE Ethics Guidelines. All proceedings are published under the scientific responsibility of the conference editors.
